The Institution for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Professional Higher Education (QAPHE) was established as the Institution for Beauty Business Evaluation on February 18, 2011.
As the organization evolved, its name was changed to the Institution for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Professional Higher Education on September 24, 2014.

QAPHE pursues goals such as the following:

  1. To contribute to the development of professional higher education through the evaluation of educational institutions involved in the practice of education and research at the level of professional higher education, in response to the greater sophistication, diversity, and internationalization of professional higher education;
  2. To facilitate improvement in the quality of evaluated institutions through the feedback of evaluation results; and
  3. To contribute to the development and internationalization of professional higher education through the broad disclosure of evaluation results to society.
